This half day course is designed to provide practical understanding of noise measurement theory and practise. It is targeted at new instrument users and those looking to refresh their understanding. This course covers the following topics:

  • Introduction to the theory of sound propagation
  • How microphones and sound level meters work
  • Commonly used parameters and knowing when to use them
  • How to avoid common measurement errors

At the conclusion of the session participants are invited to discuss their specific applications or any 2250 Advanced software Applications. REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY.

NOTE: This course will only proceed if the minimum number of registrations are met.
